Good god. Can't believe I have this many favorites... Why do I need to favorite them, anyway? I'm not likely going to ever look at them again, there's too gosh-darn many!

Sims2fanatic (AKA Dundee_998) is a highly-troubled young adult female, whose troubles stem entirely from her over-active procrastination devil. She prides herself on her writing skills, though she moans the fact that she can never finish a story. She enjoys her artistic ability, but notes that she is far from being anywhere near the abilities of the more creative half of her school. She gets an enormous kick out of math, though it is not her passion, and most recently she has come across Adobe Flash CS4, allowing her to begin to pursue her dreams as a novice animator. She is prideful and humble, creative and analytical, and is generally a bundle of contradictions-much like everyone else of her age group.

I have no idea how the translating system works, but if it were up to me, there would be two teams-one team knows both English and Japanese, and translates the raw words, and the other team is experienced in writing, and makes the translations WORK. Bleh. However, I am eternally grateful to the anime producers for not making the fight between Sasuke and Orochimaru any longer than it needed to be. True, it had way too much dialogue and flashbacks, but that's true for everything Naruto.

Do you know, you're the first person I've had an intelligent discussion with about Naruto who's actually up to date with the latest manga chapters. :D
I can have intelligent discussions about many things. Naruto? Transformers? Biology? Evolution/Creation? General anime/manga? Star Wars/Trek? Video games & the accompanying console wars? How much Vista sucks? Go ahead, pick something, it doesn't have to be in that list. Why? Because I love conversing with fellow intellectuals ^/_\^

Oh, Vista sucks so very, very much... Blasted computer can't create slideshows anymore. But basically, the two pieces of culture I spend the most time on are Naruto and Harry Potter, just because as they have the highest fanbase, they have the highest likelihood of having quality fan-made material. No doubt there are probably several fanfiction authors who have created very well thought out stories and interesting pictures of Firefly, Dragonriders of Pern, Discworld, and all that good stuff, but only the Naruto and Harry Potter fandoms have them in excess. Oh! Have you read Discworld by Terry Pratchett? Did you see Inkheart? Did you read it?
I haven't seen/read either of those, actually! What are they about? I assume Inkheart is a movie and a book, and it sounds a little familiar, as does Terry Pratchett. I'll have to check and see if I've read anything by her, and get back to you in about 7 hours. I need my intellect sleep!

Discworld is a MASSIVE book series by Terry Pratchett, who co-wrote American Gods with Neil Gaimen, who is famous for his intense graphic novels and for writing the stories on which the movies Stardust and Coraline are based. The series itself is what you get when you combine Samuel Adams' incredible writing style and JRR Tolkein's incredibly detailed world. Within the series of over thirty novels, he covers all kinds of genres-the misadventures of an incredibly lucky wizzard, witches, the life of Death (the anthropomorphized personification of) and his granddaughter, and even murder mysteries headed by His Grace Commander Samuel Vimes! :D I've only read about half of the series so far, much to my disgrace.

Inkheart is a modern fantasy of three books so far, written by Italian author Cornelia Funke. This series' premise is what happens when the stories trapped by words come to life under a skilled book-doctor's tongue, and ravage the modern world. The heroine is the book-doctor's daughter, which is awesome.

Terry's a man, by the way. With arthritis. :(
